CM Punk is too valuable to lose, but it looks like the WWE may let him go anyway. Find out why he is the best in the world and why he wants to leave.

The wrestler known as CM Punk is one of the biggest assets in the WWE. He is arguably the best wrestler, the best talker, and even the best commentator in the company. How many people have the freedom to call their boss's daughter idiotic and her husband a doofus? CM Punk does, and he did it on Live TV in front of millions of viewers worldwide. His boss gave him the green light to completely mock his whole company and even the network it airs on. Long story short, CM Punk is too valuable to let go.

The sad part is that there is a very good chance that they will let CM Punk walk when his contract expires. It is true that they cannot keep him if he does not want to stay, but wrestling is what he loves. The WWE could easily find some options that work for Punk and the company. He has said that he is burnt out with all the travel. They could offer him a contract where he doesn't have to work all the live events. Having a talent the caliber of this man part of the time is much better than not having him at all.

From many fan's perspectives it would be a huge disappointment if the WWE does not resign him, but maybe the right thing to do in this situation is to look at it from CM Punk's perspective.

On June 26, 2011 CM Punk cut one of the best promos the wrestling world has ever seen. The reason it was so good is because it wasn't scripted. It was straight from his heart. He told exactly why he was not happy with his employer, Vince McMahon.

Here's a few of him main points:

-He does not like the idea that John Cena is the best. He says he is the best and that nobody can touch him. A lot of wrestling fans would agree. They see John Cena's character as a superhuman figure. He doesn't sell wrestling moves or injuries very often. His moveset consists of only a few moves. Cena is the face of the business because of his marketability.

  • Punk then compares Cena to Hulk Hogan and The Rock. He says, to put it nicer than Punk did, that Cena is better than him at one thing, backstage politics

  • Punk refers to The Rock as Dwayne, breaking the WWE's storyline, which is looked down upon in the wrestling world.

  • Next Punk says he is the best "wrestler" in the world. The word "wrestler" has been outlawed by Vince McMahon and is not supposed to be used on TV. The wrestlers are supposed to be referred to as superstars.

  • He talks about how he isn't on the collector cups, the posters, or late night talk shows. He says the fact that "Dwayne" is in the main event of WrestlaMania next year and he isn't makes him sick. This is a very legitimate argument on Punks part because The Rock is an actor, not a wrestler. He hasn't wrestled a match in 8 years. He came back and has already been named to the main event of WrestleMania next year. The Rock hasn't appeared on a WWE show in months, and he probably won't be on again for a few more months. Punk is there day in and day out and doesn't get nearly as much respect The Rock.

  • He says how the fans who are cheering him are just as big of a reason for him leaving as anything else. This is a great move because his job is to make people boo him, but many fans still cheer him because of his talent.

  • He says after he leaves he may go to New Japan Pro Wrestling or Ring of Honor and then he waves to the camera and says hi to his best friend Colt Cabana. It was rumored that Punk asked for Colt Cabana to be rehired by the WWE and put on the main roster in his contract negotiations.

  • He says Mr. McMahon is a millionaire who should be a billionaire. He says he's not a billionaire because he's surrounded by "yes men" like John Lauranitus who tell him what he wants to hear instead of what is best for business. This is something fans have been saying for quite some time.

  • Punk then says the company will be just as bad when the company is taken over by his "idiotic daughter and doofus son-in-law."

  • It ends when he starts to tell a story about Vince McMahon and his bully campaign. His mic was cut off before the story got too far. The campaign he was talking about was one that Vince started after some homophobic remarks made by John Cena and others were taken the wrong way by the wrong people.

After this promo was over a few different things were clear. CM Punk may actually be the best like he claims. Very few promos in the past decade have been this compelling and got so many people talking. The WWE realizes how much talent he has. If they didn't than they wouldn't have let him say all those things. He is worth every penny he asks for because of how good he is at everything he does.

The WWE would be making a huge mistake if they actually let him go, but it may be too late to stop him now.
